I’m Alona, a senior product designer based in the Tel Aviv area.
I started my journey in branding, creating visual identities, and gradually moved into product design, where I focus on complex B2B and B2G systems, user research, scalable design systems, and AI-focused initiatives.

I’m curious, detail-oriented, and love crafting meaningful design with good people, turning complex ideas into clear, usable products.

Experience

  • Leading design for Carbyne’s emergency response platform, focusing on complex B2B and B2G systems, mission-critical environments, and cross-functional collaboration.

    My work spans the design of the Admin Console, user research, and the continuous development of a scalable design system. I collaborate closely with my design team, PMs, multiple dev teams, customers, operations, technical writing and the CTO team, including initiatives that leverage AI to improve and evolve our emergency response systems.

    Beyond product work, I'm always looking to improve team workflows, strengthen collaboration, and grow as a designer. I believe great design is a continuous learning process and enjoy working with people who share that mindset.

  • The College of Management Academic Studies, Faculty of Design (Part-time).

    Assisted lead lecturer Tamar Segura in delivering the UX/UI course. Managed class logistics, mentored students, and provided hands-on feedback on UX principles, interaction design, and visual execution.

  • Worked on Chegg’s native B2C learning platform, designing mobile and web experiences that support student success. Collaborated with cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful solutions, including:

    • Designed and maintained the native mobile design system supporting Chegg’s products

    • Designed secure IAM flows to strengthen user trust, closed security gaps, and supported business growth

    • Improved account management UX on the web platform through flow redesigns

    • Redesigned web content cards to increase engagement, driving a 30% increase in content usage

    • Conducted user interviews and usability tests to guide product decisions

    • Collaborated closely with PMs, research, dev, and marketing teams

    • Mentored interns on UX projects and design initiatives

    • Led the visual language and design for internal office marketing
